I had my jaw wired close for 5 and a half weeks. I lived off Ensure drinks and smoothies/soup. I'1000 half-dozen anxiety alpine and was 175 lbs, lost 20 lbs. I was trying to stop some drunk asshole in Detroit from hitting my brother'south wife with a beer bottle and I got sucker punched.
I was craving Taco Bell and then bad I tried to put a soft taco in the blender lol!

I had similar re: the weight loss. The food replacement drinks the hospital gave me were bloody atrocious and I was hungry all the time. And so my Mum made a beautiful roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and put it in the blender with lots of gravy and voila! a proper meal that I could actually eat. I lost 12lb in the kickoff 7 days before she did that....

The worst office about that whole experience is the fear of what you will have to do if you throw up. Carrying effectually wire cutters everywhere seems strange, but imagining the alternative of suffocating on vomit is far worse.

Was it really hard not talking, or sleeping or anything? Was it really really painful?
I have a wonky jaw and my orthodontist said the simply way to fix it was to intermission my jaw and wire information technology shut but I don't know if I can handle the pain etc.
A.k.a if it's worth it.
